Renuvion SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE GUIDELINES

All Surgical System Standards Must Be Followed:

1	Power Setting:	60-80%	For thinner/crepey areas use 60%. Power settings above 80% have not been evaluated for safety.
2	Helium gas flow L/min:	1.5 L/min	• Ensure lower flow rates in smaller spaces. • Lower flow rates proven effective in other areas. • Increasing flow rate does not impact energy rate.
3	Stroke Spacing:	2-3 cm apart. Avoid crosshatching.
4	Passes:	2-3 with Antegrade/Retrograde technique. 3-6 with Retrograde only technique.
5	Treatment Planes, Tissue Thickness:	• Work in multiple tissue planes when possible. • Consider power settings, strokes and passes based on tissue thickness.
6	Insertion Sites, Gas Management:	• Multiple (2-3) insertion sites required (1mm larger than handpiece). • Ensure sites are well connected for gas escape.
7	Hand Speed:	1-3 cm/second	• Faster speeds will not allow for maximum contraction.
8	Joule Counter: Minimum Energy Density Threshold*	• Minimum energy density: 0.02 kJ/cm² • If below 0.02 kJ/cm² after following all SSS, consider continuing treatment until reached. *APR Handpieces only

UAL SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE GUIDELINES

All Surgical System Standards Must Be Followed:

N/A - NO AYON

1	Tumescent Infiltration:	Tissue must be properly tumesced. Do not activate Ultrasound in dry tissue. Consider 1.5:1 or 2:1 infiltration to anticipated fat aspiration volume.
2	Power Mode & Setting:	Standard (Pulsed) / Continuous Low > Medium > High	UAL Predicate Examples: AYON Low = 30% or less; Medium = 40-60%; High = 70% or greater.
3	Safe Technique & Probe Handling:	• Confirm probe selection by diameter & rings (CAUTION: Only use 2.2 mm probe in low power setting). • Use probe wrench; do not overtighten. • Use skin ports & wet towel. Do not activate in free air. • Keep probe in motion; avoid torquing.
4	Treatment Endpoints:	• Primary Endpoint: Lack of Resistance in Tissue. • Secondary Endpoint: 1.5 min/100cc (Standard Mode) or 1.0 min/100cc (Continuous Mode).
5	Probe Maintenance & Replacement:	• Inspect regularly; replace promptly upon pitting or surface degradation (See AYON IFU).
